A brief history
Shepard is a Paragon Spacer kid war hero, who has stuck by Liara from the moment she met her. Over their time together and apart Shepard and Liara saw Ashley die on Virmir, Shepard die from a collector attack on the Normandy SR1 (from which Liara found her and gave her to Cerberus) They saw Liara become the shadow broker with Shepard’s help and support, Shepard took down the collector base and returned to Liara for a short time before handing over the Normandy to the alliance. Shepard was grounded for a year, without contact from Liara but she understood why as the alliance were monitoring everything and with Liara being who she was it made sense not to stay in contact.
They met again on Mars after Earth was attack by the reapers; Liara showed Shepard how to get the blue prints to what is known as the crucible and joined her once more on the Normandy SR2. Liara was nervous that she would lose Shepard again but Shepard reassured her that wouldn’t happen again. Shepard helped Liara reunite with her father Aethyta although Liara didn’t want to at first, They remained as close as they could while trying to save the galaxy from the reaper invasion, Liara watched Thessia fall with Shepard who did all she could to stop Liara from feeling the pain that she did seeing earth doing the same, she showed Liara that being emotional is good but she needs to be strong and can still help her world from completely falling under reaper control.
Shepard comforted Liara when the time was right, they helped each after battles and made sure that whoever was injured that they would be taken care of by the other. They didn’t show that they were in a relationship in front of the others as much as they could although Javik could sense it without anything being said.
They spent their last moments together before heading to earth to save the galaxy by using the citadel, Shepard chose to destroy all synthetics which included EDI and all the geth that she had worked so hard to save, after all the synthetics were destroyed and the Normandy was able to fly again Liara and the crew went looking for Shepard.

It would be fantastic if you linked your chapters together. I am getting a tad lost trying to find which one is which, for what order.
